Once upon a time, to say it was a Portuguese house for sure, you had to have a wicker tote basket somewhere in a corner of the room. Inside this basket we could find several treasures: once my grandma, while leading me by the hand to the land market when I was a child, put so many vegetables, eggs, fruit and flowers inside the basket that I thought the poor basket would not hold. Another memory I remember was when I begged my mom to give me a very small version of the basket she had herself, and in my basket I kept children's toys and treasures.

In every good Portuguese house, you could find one of these pieces of art. At present, this craft has become extinct with time, but it is for this nostalgia that we work today in a sustainable and ethical way: so that we can continue to write new stories with you.
